Do you think Sushi is diet food?
The answer is NO!
Japanese people never eat when they want to lose weight.
I am japanese women,and sometimes I on a diet,
but, I never eat Sushi when I wanna lose my weight.
Because,Sushi is high calories,and it contains a lot of carbohydrates.

For example, in Kurazushi of Japanese famous sushi restaurant,
tuna(one) Calorie is about 88kcal.
If you eat two, calories is about 200kcal.
And, almost people can eat 10 sushi easily, so if you eat 10 tuna sushi, Calorie is about 1000kcal!
So, I never eat sushi for diet.
If I wanna diet, i will chose sashimi,because, it is low calories and high protein.
It is better to eat sashimi and salada together, because we can satiate.
But,almost japanese who wanna lose weight eat Konnyaku. In japan, konnyaku is very famous diet food.
konnyaku is very low calories.
konnyaku(300g) calories is about 15kcal!
So,konnyaku have been used in desserts, Noodles and more.
konnyaku is excellent diet food in Japan,because it is low calories, but, it used to a variety of cuisine, also becomes full stomach!
If you want to lose weight, I Recommend konnyaku.
